Khalid Mehmood Abbasi

Khalid Mahmood Abbasi is a distinguished Islamic scholar, preacher, and the leader of Shabab-ul-Muslimin. Born on April 8, 1964, in Baroot, Murree, he pursued his early education locally before moving to Karachi for higher studies and professional endeavors. His intellectual journey was profoundly shaped by the works of Maulana Maududi and Dr. Israr Ahmed, leading him to dedicate his life to Islamic scholarship and activism. He graduated from Quran College Lahore (1988–1991), where he studied social sciences, Arabic, and logic, while deeply engaging with the revolutionary Islamic thought of his mentors. Over the years, he has become a prominent advocate for Islamic revivalism, inspiring countless individuals through his lectures, writings, and leadership.

Dr israr Ahmed

Khalid Mehmood Abbasi’s association with Dr. Israr Ahmed (R.A.) deeply influenced his intellectual and spiritual growth. Dr. Israr Ahmed’s vision of reviving the Islamic Ummah through the Quran and Sunnah shaped Abbasi’s leadership in Tanzeem e Islami and as Ameer of Shura Shubban ul Muslimeen. Abbasi continues to uphold Dr. Israr Ahmed’s legacy, inspiring others to adopt an Islamic worldview and build a just, equitable society based on the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
